General Program Information
- The North Carolina Conference walking program sponsored by the Conference Insurance Committee is FREE to all clergy, their spouses and qualified Health Plan Insurees. The free participation includes all active and retired clergy, their spouses as well as lay participants in the Conference Health Plan and their spouses who are covered by the Conference Health Plan. Additional enrollment is available, if paid by the church or individual, for lay employees or their spouses not in the Conference Health Plan. Enrollment is open 24/7 year-round.
- To enroll, visit the registration website and complete the information there.
- Criteria and Reward Schedule:
- To earn the base reward of up to $250/year:
- register before the start of the new journey (calendar quarter)
- meet the minimum average daily step count of 2,000 steps during the journey
- Earn the $50 Step Up reward:
- meet the base reward criteria above for the entire calendar year
- have a daily average step count of 5,000 steps over the calendar year
- Earn the $125 Boost Up reward:
- meet the base reward criteria above
- average 10,000 steps per day for each day in the first half (January 1 – June 30) and/or the second half (July 1 – December 31) of the calendar year to earn a $125 incentive paid at the end of the second and/or the fourth journeys

NEW – Amazing Pace Walkingspree mobile app
The Walkingspree mobile app has been updated with lots of new features! Now you can see:
- Your progress in a challenge
- Add your non tracker activity, ie. swimming to your account.
- Connect with Google Fit/Apple Health (access varies depending on your program).
