The dreaded “B” word! To some, a budget may feel like a straight jacket. It may be helpful to think of a budget for what it really is: a plan for your money. A Spending Plan is a practical tool that enables us to control our money so that it doesn’t control us. Just like ropes and buoys marking the swim zone at a lake, a spending plan provides the boundaries within which you can be free and safe to use your money to reach your goals and live out your priorities.
