You can get free paper forms from the Social Security Administration office if you would like to visit one to pick these up, or you can file online for free and print copies suitable for distribution to your employee(s). In addition, there are several companies who will prepare these filings for you.  For example, one of these service providers (www.efilemyforms.com) prepares, mails, and files W-2s and 1099s for $3.49 each – when you only have one or two, it is less expensive than purchasing a whole packet of forms from the office supply store.
