All local churches are reminded that the 2025 Local Church Audit should be completed and the final report submitted through the Online Data Collection System no later than August 1, 2026.
Timely completion of the audit is an important responsibility that supports transparency, accountability, and good stewardship of church resources. The audit also provides an opportunity to review financial practices and ensure proper internal controls are in place.
The Cabinet strongly encourages churches experiencing a pastoral transition this appointment season to prioritize completion of the audit before the move. Doing so helps provide clarity and continuity for the incoming pastor and leadership, ensuring a smooth transition.
