NC Conference Leadership Training: Finance
The Center for Leadership Excellence presents the 2026 Finance training…

Join the Finance training, led by Christine Dodson. Whether you are starting a new leadership role or have been serving in church leadership for years, this training will prepare you for your much-needed ministry. You may register for any of the six virtual workshops designed to equip you to serve in your local church.
How It Works
We will host six Zoom meetings, and registrants can choose the topics that they need. If you cannot make it during the scheduled time, no worries, we will send the recordings for all the sessions in early February.
Who Can Register?
Anyone! We send invitations to the chair of each committee and church lay leaders. However, we recommend that all committee members attend the training to receive the same information. If you are interested in learning about the roles and responsibilities of other committees, feel free to sign up!

About the Presenter
Christine Dodson is the Conference Treasurer and Business Manager. She has been with the Conference for over 25 years and provides leadership for the overall financial and administrative ministry of the Conference. Christine is a lay member of Mt. Moriah UMC in the Harbor District, where she serves as Finance Committee Chairperson. She also serves the wider denomination through the Audit & Review Committee of the General Council on Finance & Administration and the Southeastern Jurisdiction Committee on Episcopacy. Christine is a CPA and holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, with a focus on leadership.
