The NC Conference Health Ministries Committee is offering two grant opportunities for local churches. Both applications are due October 31, 2026.
Health Ministry Local Church Grant
Supports the formation of local church Health Ministry teams to identify and address social determinants of health in their communities, whether starting fresh or growing an existing team. Organizations and committees in partnership with the NC Conference are also encouraged to apply.
Health Ministry Local Church Health Clinic Grant
For congregations with a licensed healthcare provider working to improve outcomes for uninsured or underinsured community members, especially around hypertension and diabetes care. Approximately $5,000 available for monitoring supplies and first-line treatment, awarded in late 2026 for projects starting in 2027. Recipients submit a year-end report with results and receipts.
