We still have funding to support 14 NCCUMC congregations who would like to start a Colossian Way small group in 2022 for only $70 (a $488 value). The Intentional Growth Fund and The Duke Endowment have been generous in their support of congregations taking this leap of faith to learn more Christ-filled ways to engage challenging topics across differences.
If you are interested in this opportunity, claim your spot this week by clicking the button below and filling out the interest form. After January 15, we intend to offer any remaining spots to our neighboring conferences.
Hear directly from two NCC pastors who hosted groups this fall:
“We are a diverse group who don’t agree on all the issues, but we all do agree that this has been a wonderful and meaningful experience. It has taught us how to discuss difficult and emotional issues in an open and loving way.”
~ Tommy Sweeley, Southern Pines UMC
“We live in a world where people say what they want, but this program is building our muscle for restraint. The goal is not to gain a consensus, but to listen to stories as a means of grace.”~ Bill Negron, Dixon’s Chapel and Concord UMC
We believe in the power of this curriculum to reshape the ways we live and interact in community around difficult topics, and we are excited to get this curriculum into the hands of more NCCUMC congregations.
If you have any questions, please reach out. Opportunities will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to let us know by January 15. If we have available spots after that date, we will open them up to our neighboring conferences.
