College students are making life-shaping decisions about faith, identity, and vocation. Local congregations can play a vital role in encouraging and supporting them.
For the first time, our conference is offering a new Lay Servant Ministries course: Campus Ministry: Empowering Congregations to Support Students at Colleges and Universities.
The course will be hosted at St. James UMC in Greenville, where ministry with ECU students thrives through weekly meals, game nights, a Friendsgiving for international students, student recitals, and home-hosted meals. These ministries show how a church can welcome students and help them feel part of the community.
Learn from St. James’ example while engaging this new curriculum. Registration closes September 18!
October 4, 8:30am–5pm
Facilitators: Tom Greener and Ann Davis
Cost: $25 (includes lunch)
Participant Book, available from Cokesbury or Amazon
