NCC Disaster Response has several mold sprayer treatment teams and is working to add additional teams. The teams use a treatment process that does not use bleach. This treatment is more effective against mold and safer for sprayer teams and home owners.
Homes that sustained flood damage during and after Hurricane Florence should be checked and treated for mold before repair work begins. The dwelling should dry for a week before spraying for mold. Once treated, it should be allowed time to dry for a week then re-checked to determine if further spray treatment is needed.
