We know that people from all walks of life are struggling with addiction. Many church members have family or friends they love and care about who strive to live drug free one day at a time. Let’s be prepared to save a life in the event that someone needs our help.
According to the Addiction Policy Forum, “Naloxone is a temporary antidote for opioid drugs which include but are not limited to heroin, fetanyl, morphine, codeine, oxycodone, hydromorphone.”
Here a website from Olive Branch Ministry that gives details about how to safely administer naloxone/Narcan. https://olivebranchministry.org/narcan%2Fnaloxone-1
Please contact Rev. Jaye White if you’d like to add the nasal spray to your church first aid kit, or if you have any questions.
