Conference-Wide Leadership Training
for Lay Leaders, Trustees, Finance, and S/PPRC
January 9 @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Join us for one of four virtual workshops designed to equip you to serve in your local church as Lay Leader or on the Finance, Trustees, or Staff/Pastor Parish Relations Committee.
Whether you are starting a new leadership role, or have been serving in church leadership for years, we hope this model of leadership training will prepare you for your much-needed ministry. Laity and clergy in partnership with one another is the key to a church’s success in making disciples.
How It Works
We will host four concurrent Zoom meetings, and registrants choose the training that they need. If you need more than one training, register for the session you would like to attend live. We will then send you the recording of any additional training you need.
Who Can Register?
Anyone! We send invitations to the Lay Leader and the Chair of each committee: Finance, Trustees, and S/PPRC. However, we heartily recommend that all committee members attend the training. It is helpful when all committee members receive the same instruction. In addition, anyone who wants to learn more about how these committees work is more than welcome to join.
In addition, all who register for the Conference-Wide Leadership Training are invited to join us for a second workshop on Relational Covenants with Molly Shivers. This workshop, also virtual, is scheduled for Sunday, January 23, 3-4:30pm ET.
There is no need to register separately. Just let us know that you’d like to participate when you register for your Conference Wide Leadership Training session.
