In a time of adaptive strategies and new approaches, the 2021 January Leadership training, usually held in the districts, will now be conference-wide and virtual on January 10, 2021. Whether you are starting a new leadership role, or have been serving in church leadership for years, we hope this model of leadership training will prepare you for your much-needed ministry. Laity and clergy in partnership with one another is the key to a church’s success in making disciples.
Conference-Wide Leadership Training
Sunday, January 10, 2021
3:30-4:30pm – Virtual Workshop

You will have a chance to choose one of five workshops, depending on your leadership role or interests. Do you serve on more than one committee? No problem. We will record the sessions. Links to recordings will be emailed to you a week or two after the event. You will be able to access these online at your convenience. We hope you will take advantage of the collective wisdom of a phenomenal group of presenters who will equip you with the information you need for successful service to your local congregation.
Workshop Options:
The first four workshops will help you understand committee responsibilities and the expectations for church leadership roles in each respective area. The State of the Connection workshop will update you on the work of the delegation and what the process will be for the General Conference moving forward.
