About the Facilitator

An ordained elder in the NC Conference, Jon Strother has been in pastoral ministry since 1982 and currently serves as the district superintendent for both Beacon and Sound districts. Jon is passionate about forming disciples and looks forward to leading this new Lay Servant Ministries class based on the See All the People curriculum. Hear directly from Jon about the importance of being and making disciples:

Jesus lived in community, and so do we. We cannot become his disciples on our own. The call of the Church is to be on mission, together, with Jesus Christ, in the world. In Christ, we are called to announce, to put on display, the rule and reign of God in this world. It is my joy to join all of you in answering this call.

Thank you for your interest. Registration for this course has closed. If you believe you have time to read the course materials prior to class and would like to request an exception to register late, please contact cle@nccumc.org.

We regret that we are unable to issue refunds or credits of registration fees.
