Psychological First Aid for Disaster Response Workers
International Orthodox Christian Charities, North Carolina Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster, and the Crisis Training Center are hosting a Psychological First Aid training on June 5 from 9 am – 5 pm. This training is designed to equip long-term recovery teams, faith leaders, case managers, and first responders with tools to support survivors. Participants will learn how to help survivors reduce psychological distress, foster resilience, and provide compassionate support during crisis recovery. The deadline to register is June 3, so register now to save your spot!

The American Red Cross offers a virtual Psychological First Aid course. To take the course, create an account, select the Browse Training Courses tab, and search for the Psychological First Aid online course.
