Outreach Ministry
Connecting congregations with worldwide United Methodist mission engagement
What We Do
- leadership development around local and worldwide outreach
- congregational and clergy coaching
- discerning skills, talents, and congregational capacity for outreach into the local community
- connecting congregations with worldwide United Methodist mission engagement, including ministry projects, missionaries, and global stories
- teaching, training, and interpretation regarding complex issues around mission and justice, such as reading scripture in our cultural context (biblical animation), Sabbath Economics (connecting our lives more fully and spiritually to Kingdom economic choices,) understanding how United Methodist social principles inform and frame our ministry, and engaging the lives of the poor in partnership to overcome and transform systems of poverty and disenfranchisement.
