“Taking Back Advent” is the perfect way to keep the miracle of Christmas in our days. The course and companion book will help incorporate your own family traditions into suggested activities, and let you savor an intentionally short and easy-to-understand devotional. You will find it convenient to fit into even the busiest of schedules, yet it will help you experience the peace and joy of this special season.
In our daily discussions you will find simple suggestions on how to implement what you have been reading. This is meant to be a time of community and reflection with no pressure to complete each one – you may come and go as you please, but be sure to drop in as your schedule allows to share what you have done and get ideas from your classmates.
In addition to Blackboard interactions, 1 optional Zoom meeting will be held on Thursday December 21 at 7pm Central time. This will be an opportunity to celebrate our time together preparing our hearts for the coming of our King. The meeting will not be recorded.
