Wespath invites you to Saving Grace: A Guide to Financial Well-Being, a biblically-based financial education journey that provides the resources you need to address the topics of saving, earning, giving, spending, and debt, along with helpful strategies for achieving a sustainable financial life.

This exciting partnership between Wespath and Abingdon Press draws on the expertise of United Methodist leaders across the connection through videos, a workbook, a leader guide and devotional materials. With study sessions for both pastors and laity, participants will explore money management from a Wesleyan perspective helping you reach personal financial goals as well as address life concerns.

Saving Grace: A Guide to Financial Well-Being

Online 8-Week Course

Dates: Tuesdays from September 10 – October 28, 2024

Time: 1:30pm – 3:00pm ET/12:30pm – 2:00pm CT

Place: Zoom Classroom

Facilitated by: Rev. Cary James, Jr.

Fee: $30 (includes workbook)

Maximum participants: 100

This online course will follow the Saving Grace clergy workbook and will use facilitator presentations, videos, and small group discussions in Zoom breakout rooms. Participants will be invited to engage the personal finance tools to practice personal money management skills. Please note that participants will not be expected to disclose any personal financial information during the course.

Please note: the first two sessions (September 10 and September 17) will focus on clergy finances as outlined in the clergy workbook. Sessions 2-8 will follow the six core sessions outlined in both the participant and the clergy workbook. Everyone is invited to join the first two sessions, regardless of clergy status.
