This microcourse is for those who hope to expand their personal or congregational ministries and opportunities in the face of seemingly inadequate resources. It will provide specific, practical tools you can use in your congregation immediately (even by Zoom) to get moving into new possibilities without damaging what is already successful.
While not required, learners can read the book The Power of Asset Mapping: How Your Congregation Can Act on Its Gifts by Luther K. Snow.
In addition to daily Blackboard discussion assignments, two required Zoom meetings will be held. The first will be on Monday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Central time, and the second on Friday, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Central time. They will not be recorded. Learners not interested in the CEU and certificate are welcome to participate in just the Zoom sessions.
0.5 CEU will be awarded to those who complete the course.
