In the Great Commission, Jesus told his followers to ‘go and make disciples,’ yet how many churches are concentrating on that goal today? Added programs, streamed services, and blended music are popular, but are intentional discipleship growth opportunities provided?
This course will help you develop intentional discipleship growth. It examines not only the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of what is done, but also the ‘why.’ Using simple worksheets, you will be able to connect the stages of growth of a disciple with the characteristics of a disciple. You will identify gaps in available works of piety (internal) and works of mercy (external) and assess your current offerings in light of intentional discipleship. The course will provide tools you need to develop an intentional discipleship system to revitalize and grow your congregation.
Note: This course is designed for individuals or for a church team to attend together.
