In July, many Americans will celebrate the freedom that we have in our country. Some, like the author of the book mentioned below, celebrate freedom from cancer (for seven years in July)! But, what about those that have just been diagnosed with cancer, or who may not come to know that freedom while here on Earth? Even if someone has not had cancer personally, it’s almost certain he or she knows someone who has, or does. Unfortunately, cancer does not discriminate between believers and non-believers. It happens when it happens. This transformative class will take the learner from scared to prepared when talking about the diagnosis, treatment, and “after cancer life” for themselves or a loved one, by studying the story of someone who survived the ordeal and talks about it with faith, humor and honesty. As the author will tell you, it is freeing to be able to talk about such an ordeal. Helping someone else talk about it may be the greatest gift you give someone this year!
