Growing in Grace Symposium Scholarship Application

The NC Conference is offering two scholarships to attend the Growing in Grace Symposium, September 22–24, 2026, at Duke Memorial UMC in Durham, NC. Each scholarship covers the full $250 registration fee. Travel expenses and lodging are the responsibility of the participant.

About the Symposium: Growing in Grace brings together pastors, lay leaders, educators, artists, and others interested in anti-ableist faith formation and creating worshiping communities where all people truly belong. Learn More
Who Can Apply: Anyone (laity or clergy) who is actively involved in a United Methodist congregation in the NC Conference.
Deadline: July 31, 2026
Commitment: Scholarship recipients will be expected to attend the full three-day symposium and participate in a follow-up conversation after the event.
