Wake Interfaith Disaster Team, in cooperation with the American Red Cross Greater Triangle Area, is offering a free 3-hour training on Psychological First Aid. This course equips participants with skills to support people experiencing distress during personal or community crises. Participants will learn how to recognize reactions to crisis, listen with care, and provide practical support to help address immediate needs.

Completion of this training also qualifies participants to assist in a Wake County or Red Cross shelter if needed.

The training will take place on March 25 from 9 am to 12 pm at the American Red Cross Greater Triangle Chapter (100 N. Peartree Lane, Raleigh). Registration is available through the Wake Interfaith Disaster Team. The Red Cross will have an additional registration procedure.
