Sixty-five people from across the Conference came together for the first Faith in Action weekend to help repair homes for families in Columbus County. On Saturday, six teams worked at seven homes, tarping roofs, painting ceilings, installing flooring, and painting windows.
The day wrapped up with a Pig Pick’n at Zion UMC, where volunteers fellowshiped, shared stories, and celebrated the work accomplished together.
Thank you to all who served this weekend! If you missed the first weekend, there are still opportunities to serve through the end of October. And don’t miss the chance to celebrate with another Pig Pick’n at the final Faith in Action weekend.
