In August, Tropical Storm Fred caused devastating mountain flooding in western North Carolina, particularly in Haywood, Buncombe, and Transylvania counties. Bishop Fairley invites churches and early response teams to help our sisters and brothers in the Western NC Conference in their disaster recovery efforts before the winter months set in.
