I currently serve as an Associate Pastor at First United Methodist Church in Morehead City where I have been for the past 5 years. I graduated Duke Divinity School in 2011 and live on the banks of North River in Beaufort with our 2 boys, 6 chickens and 2 dogs. My husband Gray Williams and I met at Camp Don Lee and our oldest son, Bradley, attended Camp Don Lee for the first time in the summer of 2019 as a third generation camper. I was first called into the ministry while working on summer staff at Camp Don Lee. We are passionate about camping and retreat ministry and each year, I look forward to KScope because I get a chance to share a place that I love best with amazing middle schoolers from across our conference. When we aren’t at church, we enjoy spending time on the water – fishing, boating and playing on the shore.
I am a member of Fletcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Durham. I graduated from Barton College with my degree Health and Physical in the fall of 2013. I have served as a public educator for 8 year, I teach Health and Physical Education and serve as the Athletic director for my school. Growing up I was a conference youth and attended all of the events such as Kaleidoscope, Breakaway and ACS. I am excited to serve in this role as Co-dean to help lead and guide a weekend of Christ’s love through the Holy Habits. I am also excited that this weekend takes place at Camp Don Lee where I was a camper as a youth and served on staff as an adult. I love the camp experience and getting away to a place of amazing beauty to experience God’s presence.
