Más Diversity
June 23, 2023 – June 25, 2023
We invite all ethnic youth of color to the first-ever “Más Diversity“ summer event. From June 23–25, we will gather on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan University to celebrate and connect with our youth of color.
As part of the larger goals of our Conference Youth Ministry, we are working towards inclusion and diversity. Historically, the summer youth events have been homogenous, and as we seek to grow in diversity, we also seek to offer “Más Diversity” as an on-ramp to the entirety of the work of Conference Youth Ministry so that our youth of color will find appropriate representation and also equity.
After three days of growing together, these youth will join the summer youth week of Breakaway, to be held at the same location.
