Theme: Anti-Racism
Join us at Global Vision! Our theme is Antiracism this year. One of the main focuses of our Annual Conference has been antiracism, and as we try to grow faithfully as disciples of Jesus Christ who strive for equity and healing, we will learn to do so from different practitioners and in conversation with each other.
Global Vision is a high school-only (9th-12th grade) weekend retreat in the spring. This year it will be at St. James UMC in Greenville, NC, as a way of trying to make it more affordable for everyone who wants to attend. The sleeping, dining, and recreational arrangements will be very similar to how they operated last year at Camp Rockfish or how they have operated at other UMC camps.
Global Vision will include small groups, worship, seminars from current experts in antiracism, and camp activities.
