Caring for God’s Creation Through Just Energy For All (United Women in Faith)

What does Jesus’ mission have to do with creation care? What does it mean for disciples of Christ? Join us for this interactive session where we will examine one of the most famous passages in Scripture, its call to care for God’s creation and its connection to UWF’s Just Energy for All campaign. This session will also examine five reasons why women of faith should care about just energy for all and concrete opportunities we have to care for God’s creation.
 
Featured Presenter: Elizabeth Chun Hye (Liz) LEE 
 Liz serves as United Women in Faith’s Executive for Economic and Environmental Justice and Climate Justice Lead. Her primary area of work is to advance climate justice through the Just Energy for All campaign with members, churches, and society through training, program development, partnerships, corporate engagement, advocacy, and solidarity. 
 
Liz represents United Women in Faith at the US Climate Action Network, Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility, the Transit Equity Network and other spaces. Liz was recognized by Sojourners as one of “10 Christian Women Shaping the Church in 2020.”
