Michael Roberts recently accepted an appointment as senior pastor at First United Methodist Church, Jonesboro, Arkansas. Michael has written a series of books based on John Wesley’s sermons, each set on a particular Sunday in the church year. His first book in the series, Wanting More, includes a six-week Advent study and a six-week Epiphany study based on sermons by Methodist founder John Wesley.
This webinar, scheduled on August 20, is the first of Michael’s webinars related to Wesley’s sermons. Titled “How to Use John Wesley’s Sermons in Your Preaching, Michael will discuss ways you can use the sermons of John Wesley in your sermon preparation.
In October, Michael plans to lead a webinar on using Wesley’s sermons in your Advent preparations.
