Together We Dine, a Vital Conversation on Race Relations (General Commission on Religion and Race)

Started in 2017 in partnership with the Dallas Bar Association, Together We Dine (TWD) provides an opportunity for participants to have a safe, courageous and authentic conversations about race relations and other community related topics typically over a meal. While we now host Dine events in-person again, TWD continues as a virtual experience via Zoom to provide an inclusive opportunity for participants who are near and far to join the conversation. Everyone is invited to the virtual “table”.
This month’s community TWD is hosted in partnership with General Commission on Religion and Race (GCORR) and ResourceUMC.
Following an introduction of fellowship, facilitators will lead interactive small-group discussions between participants about race, race relations and current events. This event is free to attend, but please be sure to register so that we can send you the Zoom login information.
