Preparing for World AIDS Day (NC Council of Churches)

Are you looking for a message of hope for this year’s Advent worship? Join us for our summer webinars on Tuesdays, July 9, 16, and 23 at 7:00 PM EST/6:00 PM CST. We will engage in courageous conversations about planning a worship service that offers hope for those living with HIV. This is an opportunity to learn, share, and support each other in creating meaningful and hopeful worship experiences. We will cover the following topics: – Planning discussions for World AIDS Day, observed on Sunday, December 1. – Tips and tricks for preaching on World AIDS Day. – Community resources that offer great information and inspiration for faith communities. – HIV 101, PrEP medicine, and HVTN vaccine trials.
