Multiplying Love: A Vision of United Methodist Life Together (Beacon and Sound Districts of the NCCUMC)

Wednesday, November 8 at 10:30 am Dr Paul W Chilcote will join the Beacon and Sound Districts via Zoom for a one-hour conversation around his soon-to-be-released book, Multiplying Love: A Vision Of United Methodist Life Together (Sept 19 release). Dr. Chilcote has authored over 30 books.
He has been involved in theological education on three Continents, serving as a missionary with his wife, Janet, in Kenya, at St. Paul’s United Theological College, and as a founding faculty member of Africa University in Zimbabwe. He has also taught at Asbury Theological Seminary, Ashland Theological Seminary, Duke Divinity School, and the Methodist Theological School in Ohio.
As United Methodists continue our pivot away from division and discord, God calls us to continue moving into God’s preferred future. What might this look like? Dr. Chilcote’s book will help us in answering that question and in reclaiming our call to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
