If you see needs in your community that small businesses can help with, let Hugh Halter teach you about his approach to incubating businesses and starting new faith communities at the same time.
Dates: September 14, 21, 28 from 1-3 Eastern
Session One: Music not Math Finding and following the creative nature of God in the cities we live is essential to the future of mission. In this session we will explore the biblical, missiological, and practical reasons that “church” must be more than a worship service or network of house churches and missional communities. Instead, we need an integrated way of being church.
Session Two: The Ecclesial Enterprise Ecosystem: This session explores what it looks like to “church” to become something that engages in the actual life of a town or city. We will examine the differences between what God builds, what we build, and the critical nuances that can make something “church” especially and including entrepreneurial ventures.
Session Three: Apostolicing In this final session, we will explore how the life of leaders who pursue a lifestyle of missional enterprise takes shape and grows. We will consider examples of real-time apostolic gifting and we will particularly consider the role of suffering in the lives of leaders as part of the growth and life of the kingdom. If you see needs in your community that small businesses can help with, let Hugh Halter teach you about his approach to incubating businesses and starting new faith communities at the same time.
