Join the North Carolina Council of Churches and NECHAMA – Jewish Response to Disaster, in a solemn commemoration of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. Together, we will honor the lives lost, uplift the voices of survivors, and reflect on the ongoing responsibility to confront hatred and injustice.
This webinar will feature powerful reflections, ecumenical prayers, and a survivor’s testimony from Renée Fink, who was born in the Netherlands and went into hiding at age four with a Catholic Dutch family. After the war, she reunited with her grandmother and later immigrated to the U.S. in 1948. Now living in Chapel Hill, Renée shares her story to ensure history is not forgotten and that future generations continue to stand against antisemitism and all forms of hate.
We invite you to join us in remembrance and action.
