Holy Week and Liberation: Black Preaching in a Climate Crisis (Creation Justice Ministries)

The Black church preaching tradition has always had something to say about liberation. Words preached in this tradition have been at the heart of movements for freedom, abolition, and reparations. These words are needed now if the church is to have any witness in a climate changed world. Join us as we welcome three preachers to share short homilies and conversations that move us through Holy Week while bringing messages of new life for all of God’s creation.
