About the Speaker:
Elaine Heath is an ordained United Methodist minister, theologian, and former Dean of Duke Divinity School. She previously served as a professor at Perkins School of Theology and holds a PhD in theology. After retiring from academia, she co-founded Spring Forest, a new monastic community in North Carolina focused on spiritual formation, refugee resettlement, and regenerative farming. As lead farmer and Abbess, she fosters a vision of healing and justice within the church. An author, speaker, and consultant, she is dedicated to shaping a more inclusive and transformative Christianity.
