CBP One App: Migrants Speak is a webinar that reveals some of the difficulties that asylum seekers face when trying to access the asylum system at the Southern border. Immigration Law & Justice Network and partners invite you to listen to a scene from “Dos Nogales” on Friday April 19th at 4:00 pm ET, a new play written by the internationally acclaimed Mexican playwright Hugo Salcedo that is based on his interviews with asylum seekers in Nogales, Sonora. Additionally, migrants currently located in the Mexican border will share testimony about their struggles and the dangers they face while waiting for the opportunity to enter the United States. El webinar CBP One App: Migrantes Hablan revela algunas de las dificultades que enfrentan los solicitantes de asilo tratando de ingresar al sistema migratorio de este país por la frontera del sur. Immigration Law & Justice Network y aliados les invita el viernes 19 de abril a las 4:00 pm ET a escuchar una de las escenas de la nueva obra de teatro “Dos Nogales”, del aclamado e internacionalmente reconocido dramaturgo mexicano Hugo Salcedo. Salcedo basa esta obra en las entrevistas que hizo con solicitantes de asilo en Nogales, Sonora. Migrantes ubicados en la frontera del lado de México compartirán, posteriormente, los retos que surgen mientras esperan por la oportunidad de ingresar a Estados Unidos.
