For the Common Good: Discovering and Using Your Spiritual Gifts
… is being offered by the Sound District LSM Team. The class offers a scriptural understanding of spiritual gifts and would be beneficial to anyone who desires to find how they are gifted to serve in their church. The class is required class to become a Certified Lay Speaker but is also open to anyone.
This Spiritual Gifts class will help participants identify and link their gifts, abilities, and sense of calling for use in and beyond the local church. The participants will learn how spiritual gifts discernment helps congregations to equip mission-focused leaders who make disciples for the transformation of the world. The class will be taught by Certified Lay Minister Gail Bailey Lindsay.
The hybrid in-person/ Zoom class will be offered Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The class will be taught at Trinity United Methodist Church (2311 Elizabeth Avenue, New Bern, NC 28562). The registration is $15.00 for Zoom or $25.00 for in-person, which includes lunch and snacks. Registration ends July 9th.
