Together We Dine (General Commission on Religion and Race)

Started in 2017 in partnership with the Dallas Bar Association, Together We Dine (TWD) provides an opportunity for participants to have a safe, courageous and authentic conversations about race relations and other community related topics typically over a meal.
Project Unity is pleased to partner with the General Commission on Religion and Race and ResourceUMC to host this vital conversation as a step to help heal the racial divide across our nation.
This event is a virtual experience that will offer an opportunity members of the UMC community to engage in what we hope will be transformative conversations for your personal journey. Listen and share your experiences with fellow diners in a healthy and respectful manner.
Following an introduction of fellowship, facilitators will lead interactive small-group discussions between participants about race, race relations and current events. This event is free to attend, but please be sure to register so that we can send you the Zoom login information.
