Cokesbury has a new Vacation Bible School program for 2022, Food Truck Party. This VBS invites children to pray as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:11; “Give us this day our daily bread.” These words serve as a reminder that everything we have comes from God — and that it’s by turning to God in prayer that all of our daily needs are met.
Cokesbury’s previous VBS, Discovery on Adventure Island, is also still available. Another option is the Champions in Life intergenerational VBS that utilizes African American culture, history, music, and art to teach biblical truths.
Cokesbury hosted a virtual workshop on the Food Truck Party theme, and you can watch the video of it to train your team. A training video for Discovery on Adventure Island is also available at the same link.
Three VBS programs also come in a One Room VBS version for churches that have all kids ages 5-12 in one room.

The Media Center has two copies of the Food Truck Party VBS Starter Kit available for borrowing. Reserve your copy now! Anyone involved with a United Methodist Church in the North Carolina Conference can request to borrow a resource and receive it in the mail.
