For Fall 2024, the Creation Care Committees of the North Carolina and Western North Carolina Conferences of The UMC are happy to host Creator, Creature, Collards: A Bible Study from the Farm, by Rev. Jarrod Davis, Creation Ministries Coordinator for both Conferences.
Creator, Creature, Collards: A Bible Study from the Farm is a six part study that is being offered this September and October to both individuals and groups alike. Participants will join Jarrod online, where he will share stories from the farm and lessons from Scripture, and discuss with participants what it means to be created by God and share this Creation.
The Study for Groups
Would you like your church group or small group to participate in this study together?
Creator, Creature, Collards: A Bible Study from the Farm is being offered for groups on Wednesday nights, September 11 through October 16 at 7:00 (Eastern Time). All you need is an internet connection with Zoom capabilities, a screen big enough for the group to see, and a leader to help guide the conversation in your group. Jarrod will provide the rest, including weekly readings and live teaching on the day of.
The cost for the group study is $50, no matter the size of the group.
The Study for Individuals
Would you like to participate in this study on your own?
Creator, Creature, Collards: A Bible Study from the Farm is being offered for individuals on Thursday nights, September 12 through October 17 at 7:00 (Eastern Time). All you need is an internet connection with Zoom capabilities. You’ll be connected with other like-minded learners in an online session led by Jarrod. You will be provided weekly readings ahead of each session, and Jarrod will lead the class and guide the conversations.
The cost for the individual study is $15 per participant.
