Your Hosts
Our Site Host is Rev. Jerry Hagler, a retired United Methodist Local Pastor, and chief dreamer of Osprey’s Rest. From a child Jerry has loved the Earth and devoted his life to its care and protection! His highest calling is to be steward and guide to GOD’s enduring creation. As a pastoral minister his association with the Emmaus Community and School of the Spirit placed a keen edge upon his willingness to love, trust and walk with the Lord. Jerry desire is to create the circumstances where anyone can open their heart to the presence of God’s Spirit in the natural world.
Our Cohort Facilitator is a veteran participant of Sabbath Life. Rev. Jonathan Brake, an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, has years of experience in spiritual formation, spiritual direction, retreat leadership, creation care, and contemplative ministries. Jonathan sees his role as providing a means of grace for ongoing personal and communal transformation among all who participate and seek a deeper walk with the Lord.
