Clergy licensed and under appointment within the NC Conference are required to complete the Basic Course of Study (COS) program.

General Board GBHEM Program – All Online
Duke Divinity School – COS – Online / Hybrid (Intensive residential + Online)
Candler Theological School (Emory) – Online (Hybrid)
INFO ON PID # – GBHEM issues a PID number to all students enrolled in the Course of Study program. The PID number is required for registration in COS school. Students currently enrolled in COS will find the PID number on their GBHEM COS transcript. When registering as a new COS student, the PID number can be requested by emailing cosregistrar@gbhem.org. The email should include the student’s full name, COS School name, Annual Conference name, mailing address, phone number, and date of birth.
REIMBURSEMENT:
The NC Conference provides reimbursement of registration costs for the Course of Study programs, including Basic and Advanced COS.
