Annual Conference 2023 will be at the Greenville Convention Center in Greenville, NC, on June 15-17, 2023 (Thursday-Saturday). The theme for the quadrennium is Grace for the Future. Annual Conference 2023 will focus on “Graceful Hospitality.” Bishop Connie Mitchell Shelton will preside over the conference with the assistance of Bishop Debra Wallace-Padgett (North Alabama and Holston Conferences), Conference Secretary Rev. Dr. Gray Southern, and Conference Lay Leader John Hall.
As you plan to join us this year, please know that the dates are different from what was announced at last year’s conferences.

We have a wonderful lineup of speakers scheduled for Annual Conference.
Bishop Connie Mitchell Shelton
Bishop Shelton was elected a bishop in The United Methodist Church on November 2 at the Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference held at Lake Junaluska, NC.
Along with presiding over the conference, Bishop Shelton will preach during Opening Worship on Thursday and the Ordering of Ministry service on Saturday.

Rev. Dr. Edgardo Colón-Emeric
Rev. Dr. Colón-Emeric is the dean of Duke Divinity School.
Rev. Colón-Emeric will preach during the Memorial Service on Friday morning.

Rev. Hamilton is the founding pastor of The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, one of the fastest-growing, most highly visible churches in the country.
