Our Friends from Partners in Health and Wholeness are offering a webinar on February 10, to inform us about funds coming into the state and how we might help assure responsible, life saving measures are being taken.

In 2021, it was announced that North Carolina would receive $750 million from the multi-state settlement with opioid pharmaceutical distributors Cardinal, McKesson, AmerisourceBergen, and Johnson & Johnson. This money will soon be coming to counties, cities, and the North Carolina General Assembly.

Join us on February 10, from 11:00-12:30 for Faith Health Connection, the Opioid Settlement. Participants will learn about the background of the Opioid Settlement, What is the Memorandum of Agreement, and ways congregations can get involved in advocating for the dollars to be spent on evidence-based practices.
