North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church

Cynthia has a degree in Mathematics and has always enjoyed working with numbers. This has led her to the NCCUMC as a Grant Manager, Accounting Specialist. Day-to-day, she collaborates with several departments within the conference, including Disaster Ministries, the District Office, and the Treasurer’s Office, among others. Her greatest accomplishment in working with the conference has been the opportunity to become a certified Early Response Team member and the privilege of going out into the field to help our neighbors return to their homes. She enjoys the diversity of being able to help in the various ministry areas in which she works.

Having grown up in a small fishing community on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, she enjoys any opportunity to be on the water fishing. In addition to fishing, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her adult children, and visiting her family in Massachusetts.
