Becki is a layperson who grew up in the UMC in eastern North Carolina. She is a graduate of Greensboro College with a degree in psychology and religion. During the summer breaks, she worked at Camp Don Lee as a counselor and met some of the most incredible people while there (hola hee)!
Becki has served on staff at Edenton Street UMC (1999 – 2008) and at Apex UMC (2015 – 2021) and joined the conference staff in 2023 as the Executive Assistant for the Clergy Life Office. She enjoyed her time at ESUMC and AUMC, but just between us, working in the Clergy Life Office is her favorite job!
Becki is married to Paul (a PK) and they have 2 boys, Will and Reid. They live in Holly Springs and love attending The Peak UMC in Apex! When not at a hockey rink or a horse barn, you will most likely find the Leelands in the mountains of NC, spending a lot of time outdoors around the Asheville and Lake Junaluska areas.
