The North Carolina Conference is partnering with the Western North Carolina Conference to display billboards across our state with the message, “Hate Divides, Love Unites.” This billboard campaign began in the Missouri Conference.
Bishop Connie Shelton said, “We pray that the Holy Spirit will use these billboards as an instrument of hope and an invitation to find a loving community in The United Methodist Church!”
Watch this video in which Bishop Shelton of the NC Conference and Bishop Ken Carter of the Western NC Conference tell us more about the meaning behind this message.
