About the Endowment

The Gary Wayne Locklear Mission Endowment was named in honor of one of our Conference Lay Leaders who served brilliantly in mission until his untimely and tragic death in the COVID pandemic. The Gary Locklear Mission Endowment continues to support the creation of new ministries in eastern North Carolina to respond to the ever-changing human need around us. The Endowment focuses on four areas of human need: health, wellness, and abundant life; economic resources for fullness of life; education; and spiritual vitality found in Jesus Christ. Prayers surround you as you envision new ways to extend the love of Jesus Christ in your community.
