Learners will read and study Mark’s Gospel using the provided CEB Study Bible portion. They will select verses from several passages for proclamation, derive a single focus from those verses, then create an outline or precis for proclaiming them.
The course is designed for Certified Lay Servants, LPs, PLPs, or associate members. However, anyone who preaches or teaches the Gospel may benefit.
Learners will need to obtain: CEB Study Bible portion for Mark (free download, https://www.commonenglishbible.com/files/uploads/CEBStudyBibleSampler.pdf)
In addition to Blackboard interactions, 1 required Zoom meeting will be held on the first Tuesday at 6pm Eastern time. The meeting will be recorded.
